Amsterdam LF 2019-2020 04 by corngrowth has been selected as this week's Image of the Week.

A night shot with excellent contrast - if your monitor is well tuned enough, you can see the cloud cover in front of the moon - captures an array of colors and contrasts. From the softer "old world" glow against the structures to the more modern pure colors that use them for a backdrop, there's a lot for the viewer to explore in this image. Interestingly, the photographer has framed the image to give us two primary focal points and carries it off by landing the focal line a little below center which leaves lots of room for them to exist side by side.

Thanks Cat for the description above of my Amsterdam LF 2019-2020 04 image. It's interesting and surprising to me that certain aspects have been observed by the 'viewer' that I haven't yet noticed, 😁
