There have been recent incidents reported of rude PMs being sent anonymously (from the default name "Anonymous"). For those that received them, you will be glad to know that it has now been changed so PMs can no longer be sent unless the sender is logged in. :c)

I've gotten several of those anonymous PMs....and the majority were downright rude. I'm so glad that you've put an end to that most annoying feature. Thank you. =0)

Weird! I used to KNOW a guy who called himself Anonymous...he started off as a rather nice man from Paris...and then turned into a "JekyllHyde" person..but I never got any of the weird PMS you talk about..wonder if its the same guy...But cant people like that still log in? Even by another name?

Yes but what they are talking about are guest users who have not registered a username and logged in.. If a 'guest' sent a PM, the sender's name would show up as Anonymous.

I have gotten a few in my day, but I had thought I had solved it when one of them came addressed to "Lucas" instead of "Luke" or "stuffnstuff". Because of this, I didn't even need the "Tracy" at the bottom to know that they were posted by our favorite hamburger-displaying moderator. And all this time I thought it was just a moderator trick... :-)
