ART and BMP downloads

Hmmm. Came to download one of my own images, as I'm on a different computer this week and wanted to make a few changes in photoshop. Found I can only download it as an ART file or a BMP file and cannot open either in Photoshop to allow me to edit my image. Why can I no longer download the Jpeg of my images? Thanks.

Good, trust me it's the best thing to do. IE sucks big-time! Just like everything MS does... :P Sure, some sites are just coded to work on caedes but that´'s just because some web-masters are lazy or simply not good enough... ^_^ Get a nice new Mac and start a new trouble free era of personal computing. ;) Hehe... Couldn't resist that one. Perhaps Apple will give me a bonus if you really follow through?

LOL! Actually, I have a G4 dual processor MAC, but it's dedicated to video editing and I don't use it much for net applications. What PC browser do people suggest as an alternative to IE?

Firefox or Opera (it's free now!)

A friend persuaded me to use Firefox some three months ago, and I've been using it almost exclusively since then. It provides much better control over the interface than IE does, though IE is OK too. Its major drawbacks are that 1) it's not tightly bound to Windows like IE is, so you don't have integrated security like IE provides, and 2) It doesn't appear to have the capability to right-click and "open in new window" like IE does. If I'm wrong about this, please someone tell me. It's major advantages are 1) it's not tied to Microsoft and the Windows platform, 2) It's a lot more secure than IE, because it's not bound to the OS like IE is, so it doesn't inherit the security breaches that infest Microsoft Windows, and 3) because it's open-source it can evolve much more quickly than IE does reliant as IE is upon a finite corps of paid programmers.

People who've had this problem before in IE seemed to benefit from clearing out thier cache. At least I recall a similar conversation to this with that as the answer. Regmar - In firefox, you should still have the option to open in new window, in fact, when I right click, it shows "Open link in new window" at the top. If, however, you have a mouse with a third button/scroll wheel, the firefox default for clicking on a link with the scroll wheel is "Open link in new tab". Tabs are much more awesome than new windows, and it's much more convenient to click the wheel once once than to "right-click-open-in...blah". Once you get used to tabs, you'll never go back.

(lol! Wen... Dual? Touché. Good for you. ;) Why on earth don't you just toss the Windows box out the window? Makes no sense to brows the internet and (I assume) managing e-mail on the security flawed PCs when you can have a much more pleasant online life on your mac... ^_^ Ok, maybe don't toss it that would be bad for the environment and the people driving or walking on the street (depending on where you live)... You can always sell or give it away to charity. No wait... I changed my mind again... Burn it and send the ashes to Bill Gates! (JK!))

LOL! Have you considered joining Apple's sales force? As I said, my Mac system is almost exclusively dedicated to Video Editing and I'm much better versed in the system ins and out of PCs than I am MACs. For now, I'm going to leave things as they are, thank you very much. <G>

I would just like to point out that tabs in firefox are awesome. I would say it is the biggest reason i use it over IE.

I have the 'all-in-one gestures extension' added to Firefox, and it works a treat to open new windows, tabs, etc. In any case, you can just right click on a hyperlink in Firefox and it gives you the options in the context menu to open in a new window or a new tab.
