Hey, I got two kitties right before Christmas, and they're being goof-balls. I was wondering if anyone else had any fun pet stories...here's mine so far...

One--or both--of my kitties ate through the wire on my Christmas tree, a couple of days before Christmas, so it didn't light up anymore. It looked like a wire cutter had gotten to it.

Last night one Lucky (my black kitty) was eating a dog chew toy (a pig ear, I believe it's called) I think it's odd behavior for a cat...

Also, last night Lucky got his head stuck in a tissue box. I had to help him get out. He looked a bit confused when he was free.

They can be so entertaining!

I was KIDDING! I have had my share of pets, three cats at one time, and half a dozen dogs over the years. The cats were alway doing something silly, when they weren't laying around.

Oh.... and lets not forget the 6 foot long ball python and the pet rat I had also. I had the snake and rat at different times.

I figured you were kidding...and I hope you didn't feed the rat to the snake...? I like rats, as long as they don't have the red eyes...That's always bugged me for some reason.

My dog has done so many stupid things in her life it's hard to know where to start... when I got her she was still in her puppy stage, and would eat everything, including rocks. She used to pull our garden lights to peices and eat thel little bulbs (they didn't seem to hurt her). Also when we fist got her we had several young palm trees in our garden, the largest one was about 1.5 metres tall. She chewed through the trunks and chopped them ALL down. She loved eating those things...

i had pugs, i had to leaver mine behind when i came to canada, my mom still has them and she breeds them, they are hilarious dogs, when i phone my mom it sounds like she is having to get onto her kids instead of her dogs, they get jealous and don't want her to talk and pester her the whole time. my pug (charlotte) is afraid of plastic bags and balloons, she freaks right out and runs all over the house trying to get away from them.

my dog will spend hours chasing a fly- - he won't give up until he catches and eats it...
ya...it's gross... he'll also sit on his butt with his front paws not touching the ground- it's pretty funny looking

It's better to say nothing and let people wonder if you're stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

I have always loved pets. I used to break Himalyan cats and had an Asian Leopard. I support a lion at Shambala Wild Animal Preserve. I have only a fish now but he is cute.n Pets are used alot in therapy with the elderly and they calm people and make them feel needed and loved. I once even had snails named crunch and munch. I kept them in a jar until they died. now I know better and would never do that again

Poor snails...they are like the 8th laziest animals...(I saw it on the discovery channel). That is really cool that you have had pet leopards and that you support that lion. I love big cats. Our local zoo had baby tigers here a few years ago, they were absolutely adorable!! I love their big feet.

As for therapy...that usually works, unless you have my two kitties...I swear those little buggars are the devil himself sometimes...but they're adorable so I guess it makes up for it... hehe
