What should I do here with an image of 1206 viewing and 950 download that has such a low C-index?
Usually I delete my images on the spot with such low C-index ....

I think being able to enjoy that so many viewed a picture and a huge percentage kept it...is just wonderful....nawww, dont worry.....just enjoy...what you can....I get discouraged about not getting many comments and I end up deleting some...but ah well.........

IMO the only reason to delete your images is if you personally feel you have outgrown them, or it doesn't live up to your personal standards, if you know what I mean. In other words, it should be based upon your own opinion, rather than that of other people...

By all means leave it. Let the mods do their thing. 950 downloads speaks for itself, not to mention all the compliments you received, ignore the c-index & listen to your fellow artists.

Yes leave your piece just where it is! If nothing else the new voting system has left me with a very large number of pieces in the 'perm' galleries with absolutely no C-index at all! but it bothers me not one single bit, As we endeavour to reiterate time and time again, images are selected for artistic merit regardless of c-index value!

After the voting change, less than half of my images even have c-indexes anymore - many that were in the high 80s or 90s before. I wouldn't worry about c-indexes - and agree with the others that you should leave it, and let the mods delete it if they decide to.

Leave it there Marou, I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t see the c-index as a reliable measure of the images worth.

By all means leave it. I think it's a wonderful image. The c-index is lower than that on some of my images. That doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to remove it either, if I like them. Since the new voting system I've seen many beautiful images with a very low, undeserved c-index. Voters don't always realize the finer points of an image just because it's "not their thing" or they just don't care for fractals or certain types of images, or whatever trivial reason sometimes.
