Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on our blessings and those that we love and appreciate. It is a time to have an " attitude of gratitude." What are you thankful for?
I'm glad you started a Thanksgiving thread, Kim. :) Well, I am, all together, thankful for everything I have. A roof over my head, food in my stomache and a loving God to protect me, I don't think I would want it any other way. I tend to complain allot about the things in my life, Thanksgiving is deffinately a holiday that brings me back to reality, to be thankful for all of the wonderful friends and family I have compared to other people.
i am thankful i have a good job, go to school. . .for Caedes. . .and for the reassurance that there are still good people out there. . .and my friends and family of course.
You never realize how precious it is until you come close to losing it or are around those losing it. ( I have worked in hospice care) Sometimes " one of these days" which is what we say when we want to do something but dont know when we can, never comes as we let other things take over time. We need to schedule family, friends and playtime regardless of our ages. I admit sometimes I still color and I like to blow bubbles. ( I have worked around kids a lot)
although it isnt perfect and far from total utopia, i am grateful for this country and for the founding fathers. . sure it can be discouraging sometimes but other countries have it much , much worse
Never give up. Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it. ~~ Michael Jordan
Im am grateful mostly for my family and friends. Im also greatful for having a good shelter, good food and good times. And, of course, im grateful for Caedes. id be bored out of my skull without it!
Music- it is seductive, calming, educational, teaches you about other countries and gets you dancing which is great for you. I love all from country, to classical to rock to metal
I'm ever thankful for my three lovely daughters and the precious grandkids I now have. They make me laugh and appreciate life! They are treasures that far exceed anything else in my life. Im so thankful too that thru all the bad health issues I've dealt with, somehow my painting has saved my life...along with my writings of poetry. To be able to have the freedome to go out and totally enjoy nature, take the photos I want and then enjoy them from then on. Memories are what life is made of and I have many to cherish. And yes, I am grateful for the really good friends I've made here in caedes. And I have to say, the way my family has "taken care of my needs" has been so special. And music? Oh yes indeed! Life would not be life if we didn't have music!! And last but never least is that I am so thankful for my little Cougar, my car...that takes me to places I could not walk to.............
Prism. you mean't me? Oh isn't that the sweetest thing I have heard today. I am grateful for you as well. We have our trials and tribulations ah but the victories are so sweet. Hang in there as the best is yet to come. I may not be the "whatever you say honey," kind of wife. But I am honest and I am quite an adventure. I am grateful too for your talent with and without the camera.
Lol, I feel sorry for the drivers that have to put up with u, Sadoc. :) I just remembered what an agressive driver my Mom is today. . .*sigh* Man. . .I am I ever thankful that I came home alive. :)
hmmmm. . .thanks?. . .lol, I am thankful for Caedes and all its members, (including Maria) and for the effort they put into their work, its truly amazing. i knew women were aggressive drivers. . .but dang, worse than me. . .thats gotta be. . .amazing

9. Being headhunted.
10. Adobe.
11. Finally I am greatfull for being a nosy sod as I would not have learnt anyway near as much as I know so far in my life without questioning, listening and researching everything I turn my attention to.
My children and being able to care and protect them.
Long time friends that would give there arm for me as I would for them.
The talents that the inteligent universe saw to gave me.
Money when I need it the most.
The space to breath in such a fast paced world.
Every time my children come home when they need me,
My wonderful wife Kimcande
I think above all else, my kids. When I found out I was pregnant, I was at a horribly challenging point in my marriage. I considered the options...adoption, abortion. I was scared out of my mind. 5 years later I am so glad that I didn't follow those other options. My kids are a daily joy and I cannot imagine my life without them. They keep me strong, they keep me humble. They have taught me how to again enjoy the simple things, as I DID as a child. But the best gift of all is hearing that random "Mommy I love you" for absolutely no reason other than they want me to know.
I'm thankful for my father, even though he can be extremely overprotective and wierd sometimes, and I barely see him, I've just gotta love him. Without him, I certainly wouldn't be here, now would I? Thank God for my Mother as well, shes always here for me when I need her. The "Mommy I love you" for no entire reason thing hasn't been said in a while, maybe I should consider it? Lol, I'm over all, thankful for my life, period. Theres no better way to put it. If I could, I would change a few things about my life, but I'm satisfied with it and realize how lucky I am compared to the less fortunate (God bless them). ;)
On a more serious note, I am thankful I know not to take things for granted. In other words.. I'm thankful for being thankful, for knowing what I have.
