IBM has been working on there new 8 core Proccessors and aiming for the 16 core proccessor. The inerersting theis thay use only 19 watts. And are 80 percent cooler then the present day. I understand that they are positioned to blow the present proccessors away. Who know when they will be released. But I think in the next two years. What I understand is that they are designing a new type mother board that will do a lot of the work through memory insted of the proccessor.

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

XBOX = IBM processor, PS3 = SONY CELL processor!!!!!! On the launch PS3 will have 31.?gig then uprated to 52.4gig? to match XBOX and kick it's ass in graphic content. All raise a glass for bluetooth controllers. The way forward is organice cells that record all information in their nucleus and are powered by ATP???

they are the same processors basically nick except the xbox has 3 cores only - they are both based on the power pc multi core architecture. in its launch spec the ps3 will easily kick the xbox 360 around the play pen from the get go. but lets not go too far off thread :-)

Nope the PS3 has more specific graphic options. Every aspect to make up a scene / shot is mapped seperatley. Far more clarity. Plus you can aswell plug your PS3 into your computer via USB and update it accordingly with pluggins. Therefore not allowing it to be anyway near as monstrous as the XBOX. Wait and see. Sony are the best @ this it's the first time so far that Sony have released a product after XBOX on a lower gig format, it's as fast and more striking, when for memorys sake it's been out a while they upgrade to the same speck gig / sec as 360 it's going to be massively better.
