I have around 300 dollars to spend on a digital camera. I want to know what you guys think the best digital camera i could get. it needs to be small and compact so i can take it anywhere but still good quality

Look at fuji, nikon and olympus. I think those would be the best for the price range you are in.

If you can get a good deal on it, try the Canon SD400. It is small, easy to work with, uses a lithium battery, and is stylish to boot. Keep in mind that you will still need to get a memory card and possibly a bag after the purchase.
