I was surprised to see no shots, fractals,etc. of PLOWS. They are a part of our heritage that symbolize the willingness of our ancestors to explore and settle any new frontiers that may face this great nation. I guess I need to get a smaller soapbox to stand on . :) drkhorse42@aol.com

not much call for them these days so you dont actually see them that often unless they are in some sort of working industrial museum type affair.

Where I live, old plows are a common sight. I have one in the back yard. I dont post pictures of them, because, to be honest . .they are about as exciting as nose hairs. If you like I can email you pictures. The old ag implements are part of our heritage, I agree. Unfortunately the only people interested in them today are scrap iron dealers.

I had a juicy fractal of a plow rendering .. but a car hit a powerpole down the road .. I lost all of that glorious work .. all were killed in the car, I think .. I didn't finish reading the article

Well drkhorse42, why don't you post some up for us ? I see you don't have a gallery as of yet, this might be a start. I'd be interested in what you put on the site.

I think you could get some very nice photos with any kind of old farm machinery in them, if they were in the right setting... and if had to choose between plows and nose hairs on my desktop, I know which one I'd want. No plows around me though (I guess I don't live in whatever great nation you are referring to here).

Hate about drawing all the complaints on a possible photo-op idea.Shoulda knowed suggestions weren't welcome to the already savvy who are finding plenty of stuff to photo on thier own.The ones who complained are among the top pros,so I take it as construc-tive criticism.thier artistry is not in thier photos as much as it is in the person behind the camera.Once again, my apologies.

I posted a picture of a plow. Aparently there is interest . I am surprised, but not stubborn. I have been enlightned, and regretfully wish to retract my comparison of plows and nose hairs.

Thanks fer tha 2 plow pix.I downloaded them just before one of them disappeared from caedes with 10 downloads and ten votes of way above average.I'm hoping to use them on a puzzle disc which is intended for free distribution to a local nursing home.Hope this isn't infringing on anyone?

My last post of a plow was blured, I will retake the pix and repost. I deleted the blured pix. Thats why it dissapered. I believe you are welcome to use any post for your own personal use. If you want to share with others its customary to ask before, its called courageous courtesy.

Sorry .Keifer,the only heart I put forth seems to have 5 bypasses and four stents, no gold.Didn't realize when I downloaded the wallpaper for wallpaper that I was " gathering material by Unscrupulous means" .The idea of a puzzle disc ( for this single home only)came much later, when they saw the beautiful wallpaper on this 'puter. I guess we could just save them to this one & everyone take turns? The disc sure would be handy in the event of a crash, though.
