Just out of curiousity, what about being a celebrity or an athlete makes someone an authority on politics and world issues? I realize that everyone is entitled to an opinion but just because you may be famous, is that reason enough to think you should be able to express your opinions as if they were facts? Is anyone else sick of hearing their "ideas" or am I just too harsh on celebrities?
The problem is that because celebrities are constantly in the public eye, their "opinions" may just be based on what they think people want to hear and not what they really think.
Thats the problem with America. just because you got a pretty face doesn't mean your educated, Mr. Clooney. Celebrities SHOULD NOT be aloud to speak their minds, only used as tools to draw the peoples attention. Leave it to the politicians to say what the people want to hear while they keep their hidden agendas in mind.
