Cropping images?

Hi, I'm new to caedes and I have a question. I have mny images that are pretty nice however the background has unwanted people etc. in it, how do I crop these photos wothout getting all that white in the b/g? I am using PhotoImpression 4.

click the Edit button
Then click Select & Crop
Make your selection
Then click the crop button

Try using the downloadable tutorial it may help. I have not used the software, so help is limited;-)

Yea. I know how to crop it just has white in the background. I think this is unavoidable however so. I will work on it.

Check the preferences for your program .. or .. pay attention to the paper color, possibly even foreground\background colors

chances are pretty good that "white" is selected in one of these areas

it's a free image viewer .. and does a million things .. well, maybe not a million

If your getting a coloured background then you need to apply your election to all layers before you click the crop button.
