If I had a million dollars I would donate the large majority to my church and the rest would go to improving the cafeteria food at my education center. If i had anything left after that I'd pay off my debt.

**Apolo--it's dollars not dollers** :D

I was going to quote the movie Office Space, or the song by the Bare Naked Ladies for what to do with a million dollars, but I figured I would get more "Huh?" than "Oh, funny!"

So, I'll just spare you guys that. I could go through a million dollars quite quickly...

First, I'd continue with my education. I want to go into Visual Communications through my local technical college, so the extra money would be very helpful in that vain. Next, I would pay off the rest of the payments on my car...I only owe $700 more, so it would be easy to do if I had one million dollars! Next I would probably pay off the debt my boyfriend and I have for buying a new laptop. That cost about $2,000, so we need to pay pretty much all of it.

I would probably buy a house somewhere, or at least get a mortgage for one...I would buy my boyfriend's parents a new house...I would give him money to buy a snowmobile...I would buy some land up north for maybe a cabin or just so he can go deer hunting...I would give the best Christmas presents I have ever given to my friends and family.

I would donate tons of toys to toys for tots this Christmas. I would donate money to the local food pantry. I would pay to get electricity and plumbing put into my mom's "cabin" up north. I would give my boyfriend money to fix the top on his convertible, and to just fix his car in general so he stops complaining about it.

I would by my brother a cell phone and a computer so I can talk to him more (he lives in Oregon, and I live in Wisconsin. I would put whatever I have left into a savings account that I won't touch until I have kids in college or I retire...(or until I get to go on a honeymoon...) :) But basically I would save the rest.

Oh, and I would buy a stand for my boyfriends 75 gallon fishtank we got him for Christmas last year...and I would by barstools for my kitchen, a table and chairs for my dining room, and a new couch and comfy chair for my living room. Maybe he'll even get lucky and I'll get him an X box for Christmas!

I think I went over my limit...

I would buy Caedes a top-of-the-line server for this site, and a new Dual processor G5 for me, then put about 30% away for the kids' education. The rest I would use as I saw fit over the years.

you don't want a house in ireland? just your dogs huh? you must be living the hippie lifestyle then if you're not going to work again in your lifetime...

I'm torn with buying all the stuff I listed above, or just putting the million in the bank so I could always say that I was a millionaire...

I wish I had enough to fix my car...the transmission went out on it last saturday...grr!! I hate money!! (Cuz I never have any...)

A million dollars?
A fund for scholars.
I'd be in good, too,
For my business to come through.
My dream car if I have enough;
Feeding my cat(s) might not be so rough.
Then with my funds depleted
Would I find my friends deleted?

I would buy that baby jaguar, a nice house, and pay off all of my debts. I would travel with my boyfriend and his kids and show them the world. I would contribute to some of my favorite charities and pay off my funeral expenses so that my kids would not ever have to worry about that. I would buy my granddaughter a pony and name it Spunky like her. I would keep the money going on forever by investing it and using the interests to help out my local community.

pay off school loans, my family's loans, set aside $$ for my kids. save a little.
give some of it away. spend a little to get a couple nice things, stow a little away for a rainy day and then i would give it away.
i would love to be a stay at home father for my kids (when i have them, of course).

Prism, does it take a million dollars before you can relax and smile? Health is important. That's why people need to take care of themselves and see their doctors regularly so if they win the million, they can live long enough to enjoy it. Surely you could afford great health care then?

I'd pay off the mortgage on this ghetto house I'm in (literally it's in the ghetto), then bulldoze the whole thing!!!!! Then whatever is left would go to buying a nice 3 bedroom 3 bath home, with an actual garage (so my car won't be broken into from being parked on the street), real working plumbing (don't ask, but its a nightmare), a functional kitchen (cannot fit 2 people in the kitchen, 1 person barely fits), and central heat and air (instead of space heaters and a non-working swamp cooler). If there is any money left from buying off then bulldozing my ghetto home and then buying my dream home...I'd get out of debt and buy my very first NOT pre-owned car...maybe one of those cute hybrid cars.

I'd like to say I'd give to charity, but it's only 1 million which really isn't all that much in today's world...so that being the case...charity begins at home!!!
