Hello fellow caedes members... :)

There is a gallery show coming up at my college in a couple weeks, and I'm interested in submitting 2-3 of my photographs for it. There are 2 in particular that I'm thinking about submitting, and I've love comments on them, whether you think they are gallery worthy, and what you would change about them if so. Also, you can poke around my site if you want and if you see another picture that you think would be a good candidate for the show, by all means, let me know.

Well .. perhaps you could tell us some more about the focus of the show

My first suggestion would be to give them names .. because people will be left drifting in space without a name .. unless, of course, you want that handle-less enigmatic mystique

due to the fact that I am a color junkie .. I am drawn to the first (2225) .. the barrel distortion (curvature of the walls) might hurt you a bit .. depending on the focus of the show (ie amateur or pro judging)

My next suggestion would be to find a portrait worthy of contemplation .. go find a old, grizzled, crusty, cracked face displaying decades of experience

Ok, I can give them names, not too diffcult of a task.

As far as the focus of the show, as far as I know it's not pro judging. This is the Mitchell Student Art Exhibit, no idea if you or anyone else has ever heard of it. I'm a freshman, so this is also my first time hearing about it. So as far as I know, it's just a student art exhibit, as the name implies. haha.

All two-dimensional work must be neatly matted, backed with foamcore and covered with Plexiglas, so it's not just any old show I guess. This show includes all kinds of art, it's not just photography.

So yeah, that's about all the information I have.
