In my psychology class in High School, we talked about the differences of what men and women determine to be beautiful...Not only are there cultural differences, but there are great differences in what men and women determine to be beautiful.

Women think men like them to be very skinny...when in all acuality, they don't. Us women are harder on ourselves then men are. My textbook had a graph. On a scale of one to ten (one being skinny, ten being fat), women thought they should be about a three, where men liked them being more of a six...It was very interesting.

I agree a woman who is so skinny that she looks like boy is unattractive and very unhealthy looking to me. To answer your question Kimcandy. I fell that most woman look for strength and confidence in all men. Going for only looks makes a man nothing more then a toy what real use is that for other then the obvious., The caricature in there face., The internal sensuality that comes out of there presents.
In woman there softness the, gentle look in there eyes along with confidence that shows who they are. But yet the out word expression of sensuality that only a woman can show in her strengths and form. I fell this necessary in photography and in the observer of the art.

External beauty fades...true beauty comes from within.

Jessica- what a beautiful mind..it's what's in between the ears that is the determinig factor more than between any other locations. You are right....our fashion magazines tell us that our value to men is based upon if we are brick houses. that is why women in this culture have such a problem when they no longer look like a fashion model.
