Europa by Gato Barberi or Carlos Santana for instrumental songs. FOr vocal arrangements, there have been so many......depends on the mood and the moment....
moment of silence please for those who never get the chance

'Golden Boy' by Natalie Merchant, 'Clocks' and 'The Scientist' by Coldplay, 'Jealous Kind' by Jars of Clay. These are my favorites, there are more, but I think these are the top.
I hope your dreams take you... to the corners of your smiles, to the highest of your hopes, to the windows of your opportunities, and to the most special places your heart has ever known.
That's as hard for me as chosing a favorite child, image, color, friend, or movie. Just don't take my music away...any of it! Still have all my old vinyl. ;)
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
After hearing or remembering a line or something about 6 months ago from 'Possum Kingdom' (which was on the radio years ago), The Toadies have become one of my favorite bands. I definitely listen to them alot now. I should have mentioned before, though, that my all time favorite is probably 'Would?' by Alice in Chains.
After listening to music all day to day this is faves for today.... .... love most of all stings "shape of the heart", "A thousand years" are a fav... Bon Jovi "Always"... 3 Doors Down "Here without you".. Savage Garden "I knew I loved you"... Seether "Broken"... West Life "Flying without wings"... Ronan Keating.... ooops better stop now.. hehehehe got a bit carried away but... my fav song is one noone knows.. and that is something just for me to know....
For some reason the song "Paranoid Android" by Radiohead has inspired my last 4 manips. Seems to get the creative juices flowing for some surreal type imagery. Odd considering I dont really listen to this type of music, seems a bit depressing. What do you think?
Right now I like "Road Trippin'" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Oh and "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5 (they rock). I love a lot of songs... too many to list.
Yup, too many... hard to think of a favorite. I like how they're taking the old songs and changing them up with the rap these days.. Before I didnt really care less for rap but only songs here and there, but Eminem has a couple of good songs, and when they got into the taking old songs and mixing them with rap, I thought that was pretty kool.
I'll try and make my list short. ^_^
Twista- Let's go
Eminem- Just lose it
Evenescence- My immortal
Linkin park- Every song they've got, but my fav is "Breaking the habit"
Red hot chili peppers- Scar tissue
System of a Down- Ariels
Nirvana- Smells like teen spirit
Vanilla Ice- Ice, Ice, baby
Los Lonely Boys- Heaven
Green day- Basket case
Weezer- Hashpipe
Geeze, I didnt know i had so many, lol, I cant write anymore, my hands are gonna fall off.
Eminem's too crude for my taste.
Oh, I forgot about Linkin' Park. I love all of the stuff of theirs I've heard. Breaking the Habit is good--I like Numb, too.

-->"Black then white are all I see in my infancy. Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me. Lets me see there is so much more,
and beckons me to look through to these infinite possibilities. As below, so above and beyond, I imagine draw'n outside the lines of reason. Push the envelope. Watch it bend."--Lateralus, Tool
I'm one of those who doesn't get tired of listening to the same song over&over--on Mon/Wed/Fris I'm away from home for 12 hrs straight (bus--school--bus man it sucks living in a different town than my school) and only turn off my portable cd player when I'm in a lecture--and sometimes I've listened to the same song all day. Literally. Then I can get a *little* sick of it but only for a bit.
Nice range of music genres, Brett. I don't know most of that stuff besides Beethoven but I can pretty much figure that some of that stuff is rock. I like a wide range of stuff too. I like alternative & hard rock and also some instrumental type of stuff like 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'Star Wars' soundtracks. (I like the songs during the credits in LOTR where they sing too.) I also like some classical, but I'm very picky and very selective. I don't like the light-hearted stuff, but rather the dramatic stuff, or at least a more serious tone. I like the Moonlight Sonata too. I was playing that on the piano when I was trying to get back in practice after a few years of not playing but I stopped playing again. Oh well.
(i will not name induvidual songs, because its too hard to pick the best songs)
any thing by Rush except "Stick it Out"
I also like most Pink Floyd.
Delrious has some cool songs...like "Obsession"
The never heard of before Luna Halo has an incredible CD "Shimmer"
U2's All that you cant leave behind CD is great.
Radiohead is very cool.
Lifehouse is very cool.
etc.....
I HATE Yellowcard, "Good" Charlotte, (and any other punk)
Linkin Park (who have 1 song redone 24 times or so)
etc....
