Has someone been peeking into my personal messages? I know that any host or owner of a website has access to all that is going on. Orwellian? Perhaps. Am I also sounding immature, not in the least. Paranoid? Perhaps also. Believe me, this is not a threat at all, for so many Caedes members, you have had only good times, and I admire all your talents. But for me it has been going downhill all along. Never lose your visions, and to all, a very happy and healthy life. Swan Song? Yes.

If you are receiving odd emails, please realize that when your email address was posted, ANYBODY and their Momma could have it and write to you....and say whatever they want. Is it probable that our pm's here are NOT private....yes, but doubtful that any mods here bother reading them...and why would they? Most do not even have the courtesy to respond when we write them! { or at least, when I write them}! You are upset...and if somebody is writing emails to your personal email address...it is fairly easy to locate who.

The only ones who could peek into your PMs are either caedes or the mods & they wouldn't invade your privacy unless it was requested by you or absolutely necessary. No one else could. What makes you think your privacy has been invaded ?

While I am very curious as to why you would think I'm spying of people's PMs, all I can do is assure you that I do not. The only time I have looked through the PM database is when someone flips out an starts sending "really bad" PMs to people (eg. death threats). I those cases I have to read the PMs sent by the person in order to know what to delete. Then I ban them.
So, you have nothing to worry about. Just don't send any death threats.

I deserve everything that has been thrown at me! Will you look at what I have written? It does sound insane, and I hope there is help for me yet. Even my email post looks ridiculous. Sorry for any inconvience to all Caedes members, and hosts. I had to write this for my own well being. It has made me feel better, but of course the post is irreversible, I wish only now that I did not even post it, and it would disappear. Again, my apologies to all, and I hope you can forgive this immature, unbalanced, with no self-control Geek. You are all fine outstanding, and quite funny people, and I wish that you all give me 20 lashes of punishment each. Again please see where it came from, and I know you all be witty and funny about this comment.

No worries. Of course you can edit your posts... But that is always frustrating for people that happens to read such edited threads, since it wont make much sense then... ;)
I'm not poking fun at anyone in particular btw. The discussion had a certain opening for light conversation and I jumped on... (I'm cursed with a very dry sense of humour...^_^) I'm sorry if you felt that was a blow below the belt. I just had one of those days when I felt the need to speak to all the funny (in the good sense) people around here. :)
At times I've felt quite exposed here as a "high profile" member some time ago. Not all people here play nice all of the time... I've had some funky PMs (I hear some have gotten much worse though) but that is long gone and forgotten by now. (People that do that kind of stuff are almost never worth any attention anyhow...)
Lauren, I thought you could use "guys" in the general sense for people of both sexes. That's what my dictionary says at least. ;)

A sense of humor is supposed to make people laugh, not hurt people. I have been VERY sad seeing some of the responses and coldness, when you were clearly upset and needed some sort of assurance. Reading them, I know Cat, Kiefer and Lauren pretty well...and feel they were just attending their usual fun bantering with one another...NOT directed at YOU. Phil....in particular...was cold and mean and I am disappointed. I do understand Caedes being a bit defensive , but I think sometimes we all need to be a bit more sensitive to everyone's feelings.
