Ugh!! I hate the new PM button as I "edit" lotsa my messages and now have been hitting that darn button!! I've got big hands and a super large mouse..can we e x p a n d these 'link buttons' a wee bit dude? They're like next door neighbors using the same Bar-B-Q grill or sumpin'!!

I don't know, I don't have a problem with it. Speaking of new changes, the notice we now get when an image has been uploaded but is still unavailable for comment is so very cool ! It definitely goes over the top ! I love that we can now access the artist's gallery or even the list of galleries & go from there if we want.
Now, I'm just waiting for that folder deal concerning our PMs ....

I often edit my comments, and now end up clicking the PM button. What I want to know is why would I have to PM myself or complain about my behavior? I certainly don't have a split personality.

WOOO HOOOOO! Finally we have an (archived) classification in our Control Panel!

(may I offer a minor suggestion? Instead of writing (archived) next to each one, just put a line @ the top that says *archived and then * the archived images? that will allow it to stay on one line and not split the edit/delete buttons onto 2 lines?)

At first I added a new column as you (animaniactoo) suggest, however it actually made the page wider and the 2-lines of buttons even worse.

Making "archived" into a simple icon or footnote would certainly work, I just wasn't sure if it would be clear enough for most people to notice. I've noticed that many people ignore footnotes.

I think an icon is the way to go, what if you put a note on the front page in big bold letters saying "The " * " against an image in the control page means this image is archived in your personal gallery."

It's not YOUR fault if people ignore the obvious info you've placed their for their edification, is it? 8•P

I'm sure we'll only have one new thread a month asking about it, and personally I'd rather see that in order to see a more concise Control Panel

If it were possible to have the gallery description changed, I would prefer to see "new images" replaced with "archived", so you would have, for example, "Archived -> Abstract". I don't think that's possible however, unless all the archived images were actually moved to another gallery, and I think caedes wants to avoid that.
