This reminded me of how much I miss Catharinal-Mich on this site. I called him Michelob and he was a true professional. I wish I could do just half as good as he did.
So Michelob, let's klink the glasses one more time.
A great capture of the elk, Tick, and a good tribute to one of the best wildlife photographers on this site. I like the angle in the photo and the wary expression in the elks faces. Great work.
I like he tones on this Ron!...and the bland sky pulls the detatils to your face!..VFS and the details really shout at me!!...excellent composition mate
Tick - Terrific timing to capture this shot. At first glance, I too thought it was some photo trickery (not that you would so something like that, of course ;-)). The contrast of sky and animals showcases their details nicely. Some good work here, my friend. Thad
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Tick these are some of the most majestic animals I have ever seen. Thier bugle can send a shiver up my spine from miles away. Very well composed and captured.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
My goodness such majestic animals. I dont think I would have the presence of mind to actually press the shutter if I was presented with these two. Beautiful upload honeybunch, one that Mich would have loved.
