The bus was on my heels as I ran through the weeds trying to escape. I could hear the distant voices of children yelling "Get Him, get him!" as I darted back and forth. I could feel the heat from the radiator as I started to slow down. I heard the squeak of metal against rust as the bus stopped. I turned around, raised my camera and took one last shot before I took off again. When I was safely out of its path, I swear I could hear it yelling: "One of the days, one of these days, Pow! right in the kisser!"

I took about a million shots of this bus on two separate occasions. There were some other shots I had in my gallery but this is the first one of Ralph. The star was a natural reflection from the sun.

Other than the vintage bus, and the Jackie Gleason character avie references to Ralph...I have absolutely no idea where you're coming from...

Personally, I think you're nippin' into your private stock again there, Cap'n...

Nice post and story, though...faved...

Ralph does look menacing for sure! Watch it tick - if what Richie says is true and the bulldozer is lurking there somewhere, you better not go there again. It will be hard to convince the police and the doctor what happened! A fine clear shot of good old Ralph.

Ralph drove a bus in New York City but never seemed thrilled with his job, his neighbors or his wife until the last minute of each show. Really fine post photo work in bringing out the textures, rust and grime. Hard to believe that you could get the sun's highlight out of that chrome. A beautifully captured piece of Americana and a fine tribute to the Honeymooners.
