I was looking through a pile of junk in an old shed when this photo of Waylon Jennings & Jessi Colter caught my eye. I found it strange that it was among all the discarded items of the past. The oxygen tank made me stop and think. Waylon died in February of 2002 and it is difficult to believe he has been gone that long. You might enjoy listening to this song.

What a find this is, it does seem strange that the picture has been left behind like this, family members might not have been country fans. This is perfect for the challenge Tick.

A fantastic find, Tick. I saw Waylon & Willie in concert ... way way back when I was a teen. Jessi sang a couple songs with Waylon too. My how time flies & sure brings back alot of memories.

A wonderful B & W image & the textures adds alot.

It seems that the owners did not value the photo that much Tick. You are a real fan of old sheds and barns and you bring out some rare finds here on caedes for us.

They say a good storm clears the air but will it clear the shed? An excellent and atmospheric image Tick. I've listened to the song but I have to admit that Country is not really my cup of tea (although I do have a couple of cd's of Iris De Ment). It'll do well in The B&W Challenge.

That's a beautiful shot, Tick. One tiny distraction could be cloned. The small bit of ladder directly above the picture draws immediate attention, and won't be missed.

I must learn to slow down.
Any news about Garth Brooks and his friends in low places?
I used to love Waylon's songs.

I'd suggest leaving the doors of the shed open during the next storm it might help clean up some of that mess, it certainly wouldn't hurt. A nice gritty image and song link Tick.
