I have been impressed with Caruso's(:braces) panos of "Glorious" New Brighton, I thought I would give our "Glorious" Lickskillet the same treatment. I even added some lightning, courtesy of Andrei Oprinca. This is just a two shot pano but it worked well in lieu of a wide angle lens.

This was taken in the infamous Lickskillet bottom along the Chariton River. It is about two miles, as the fish swims, north of this location on the Chariton River. It was during the 2013 deer hunting season and I was talking to a bear when the sky darkened and the photo op appeared. A herd of deer could have run right in front of me at the time and been safe. I was locked and loaded with the Nikon and the Winchester was on hold. Enjoy.

The lightning was an excellent touch. You continue to experiment and broaden, always pushing the envelope, always improving, never satisfied with being in the past. Well done sir Tick.

Well done Tick. The lightning adds to the beauty of this great looking sky. When you talk to the bear keep your hands in the trouser pockets to avoid making any gestures. They hate shaking paws.

---I was locked and loaded with the Nikon and the Winchester was on hold---

OFT (Owd Fella Tick), I realize that it wasn't polite to terminate your conversation with the bear at once, else you could have shot him twice. The first time with your Nikon and the second time with your Winchester.

Thanks for this excellent image from the 'glorious' environment of Lickskillet. The addition of the lighting has created even more tension.

S+F of course!

Regards, Cornelius.

I've been a temporary resident of Lickskillet a few times. Mostly for the company I keep than the gourmet food being offered.
Good post work on the photo and a great looking scene, Tick.
