For Verena
Verena's daughter Marcie requested we post something today in honor of her late mother and friend. I felt this was a worthy photo for her tribute.
This beautiful glass work is located in the Gonda Building at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. You can read about it here. Verena was a faithful member of Caedes and she has been missed.

A most interesting and fitting tribute Tick - she would have loved it. The link was most enlightening as well - among our antiques we have several pieces of pate de verre from France made in the late 19th century. They have such an interesting texture.

Life is a Constant Audition
Owd Fella Tick (OFT), like it was yesterday, so good I can remember that, four years ago now, we got the terrible news that our friend Verena Raye Blooz had passed away. Verena wasn't only an excellent photographer but helpful to everyone as well. On this site she is missed dearly. Therefore I appreciate your tribute to her very much.
It's very helpful to keep our fond memories to her alive.

I remember Verena as if it was just yesterday and what a lovely lady she was and this is a very fitting piece of art work she would have loved it my good friend as I do .The layout is amazing and stunning colours and detail and very clever piece of art work too.Plus Verena was one very proud lady as I remember too.
