If you don't have a Stairmaster, there is a room for you in this "not quite abandoned," building. You might have to share space with mice and rats or fleas and bats. Itching for a change of lifestyle....this is for you. A very unattractive entry for the windows contest.

My office is on the third floor. I take the stairs twice a day.
Great exercise. A fine old building.

At one time that was a fine old building you can tell by the decorative elements around those windows - a good entry Tick.

Unattractive it may be T1ck but the fact that the windows are different from one another makes this a good entry for the contest.

This was once a proud new building and had tenants excited about the opportunities for business and life it was affording them. The city has seen all the cycles of life come and go and now you have what you see before you.

This should do very well in the contest, alot to look at, study, and ponder. Going up and down the stairs would be good exercise as long as their not rotten. Tigs♥ =^..^

Fleas..itching for a change in lifestyle! You cracked me up!! Interesting windows, some are reflecting light, some are boarded up, and some you can catch a glimpse of what is inside. The details make this a great entry!

Tick - It is too bad that this old building is in such decay. The steel window cornices and sills, and first floor framing, when maintained, are quite beautiful. This one is in the 'fix-er-up' category. Good luck in the contest. Thad

Seeing this reminded me of 1969 film Midnight Cowboy. (o:
Ratso, & Joe were dancing to a tune on their transistor radio trying to keep warm during a New York winter in their derelict, unheated apartment.

Thanks for the memory of a classic film Tic, & may the best entrant win the contest.

I sit here scratching as I look this amazing looking old building and you captured it very nicely with good detail and not bad composition too,I see in my minds eye that this was once one amazing look building in it days and what catches my eye as well is Mother Nature climbing down the building as well.

So much character in bygone architecture! The shot certainly draws attention to the building's height.

It may be unattractive due to neglect now but once it stood proud and you have captured some of its former glory. The vertical perspective looks good and accentuates the height and the geometrical shapes.
Makes a fine contest entry !
