My wife and I were on our way to the grandson's football game last Friday and we had to make a quick stop to pick up some slacks my wife had altered. The seamstress lives in the country and she loves hummingbirds. I was surprised to see some still around. Since I had the equipment (Nikon D7000 and Nikkor 70-300mm lens) it was no problem to get a few shots.
The problem came later when I downloaded my photos of the hummers and the football game on the computer. I started to edit them the next day and was in the Nikon ViewNX2 software. I deleted one photo and the entire file/folder disappeared. I tried and tried to find it but was unsuccessful. I had already deleted them on the card because I had another football game to shoot. I finally downloaded a recovery software and found a few of the shots. The rest are floating somewhere in infinity. A few I found were corrupted and were unusable. Wish I knew more about computers.
That's the end of my sad tale. I hope you enjoy one I was able to recover.
