The slow pace of living in this quiet small town became much slower this day. Sounds of children playing were frozen in time. They will return on the wings of Robins and warm breezes. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

It won't be long before it comes back to life.

A winter's wonderland...times like this I could gladly hibernate....
But I would have to wake up for a glass of malt...😜..

If it's possible to capture the look of cold on a sunny day you did it!

Not even one little foot print, maybe a rabbit, doesn't seem right does it? Really nice capture though.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), a cold but very fine scene perfectly captured by you. The temporary rest due to the severe wint'ry conditions has advantages too: a wint'ry, almost unspoiled, fairy tale.
Hope however that the kids can resume their play soon.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The bright blue sky and colorful playground are a contrast to all the white...lovely shot...might make a good contest entry.
