Just so you know that I can watch a "chick flick" now and again, this will be my submission for this week's SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES. It had a lot of "star power" and you can read about it here. Get your popcorn, candy, drinks and hankies ready to enjoy the movie.

What a great looking car and photograph. Often I feel the way we were is the way we should be. Extra doses of respect, manners, and good well would be nice.

Excellent addition to the theme Tick - not a fan of Streisand so the movie is not a favorite but your shot certainly suits the title.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), this is a perfect entry for the by SAW (Pat) initiated SNATM theme. 👍.
Honesty obliges me to say that I'm not that familiar with movies. In my active career I wasn't able to watch films that much, simply because the ships in that time hadn't any provisions to provide us (the crew) with that kind of entertainment. At the time that I was on shore, I had understandably other (family) priorities.
Therefore I suggested SAW in the Discussion Board to add music videos to this theme as well.
To give the 'taste' about that, I'll provide you and the Caedes-friends with this to your image appropriate Music Video link.

Original owners? ;-) Excellent capture - darker background highlights the old Ford's yellow and black paint beautifully. Great color and lighting.

Striking scene and captured perfectly, with the sun shining, the colors and the impeccable state of this car, and all with a movie tie in, excellent.

Reminds me of gangster times...These types, and the closed sedan versions are what dominated Chicago and other places in the US during Prohibition... Given the overall speed limitations and mechanical temperament of these vehicles, I often wonder just HOW the mobsters and the revenuers EVER managed to go (and stay) "head to head" with one another back then?

Nice capture...Faved
