I recently took this photo for the local newspaper. We have many Amish in our area and the horses and horsepower engines have learned to coexist. All the roads have signs to remind us of this fact. I see the new Photojournalism Gallery is up and running, so I thought I would give it a go. Thanks to all who helped bring this about. Members and Mods unite! Also thanks to Caedes for listening to its members.

I like the humor here...'share the road' and there's no traffic:)...always interesting to see the Amish in the horse and buggy...great shot...and thank you to all who helped bring about the new Photojournalism Galleries, which can be found under both the New and Main Galleries.

Could also be around here, we have Amish communities around here. They do live a simple life, and it's probably more environmentally friendly. Thanks to you for getting others to join in and asking for this category. A big thank you to the mods, and Caedes for listening. tigs=^..^=

A nice and well taken photo Tick. With that one horsepower carriage with two persons looks so much nicer than a 120 HP Nissan speeding by.

My first tought was that they are on the wrong side of the road ! Then I remembered the wrong side is the right side for you whilst the left side is the right side for us.
