This old Dairy Barn is slowly fading from the landscape. Milk once flowed like honey, but those days have turned sour. One has to Imaginize how it looked back when teats were pumping with pride. Cows stood next to each other and gossiped as cold fingers in the winter startled them. As far as old barns go--to me this barn has risen like cream to the top. The yellow wild flowers around the Margarine, give it at least 2% beauty.
Speaking of the yellow flowers, there are many different names for them, depending on who you talk to. Names such as Black or Brown Eyed Susan's, Golden Rod, Ragwort, Tickseed, Hairy Cat's Ear, Yellow Ironweed,Bear's Foot and Sneezeweed. A farmer friend of mine said the Conservation Department calls them flowers and the farmers call them weeds. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Pull up a milking stool and see if you can squeeze any enjoyment out of this Goofy-Foofy! Also see if you can find the eye to the sky.
The goofy goofy works fine for me...as well as a terrific picture..
