I named this in honor of an old friend of mine. Needless to say he was a big man. He called his wife Sleeping Cow. I didn't ask.

"I didn't ask" .. ?

If he is a BIG man..probably just as well eh...

He must be a busy guy to have 2 barns..great point of view for this one...

Not sure many wives would like the nickname. Great shot and story.

Excellent shot, Tick. Two barns so different. I won't ask why. :))))

Maybe they had an arrangement. He would get up to milk the cows and allowed her to sleep in while he did it. I would love to know what her nickname for him was! I bet they had a very loving and fun relationship which lasted as long as life was in them.

If she is "sleeping cow" then he must be the "charging bull". I am always surprised to see so many old abandoned barns in the photos on Caedes. Looks like "Trespassing only for rodents". Good find and a nice shot Tick.

Two very different styles here, both going gray from age. Nice capture.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), it seems to me that her nickname wasn't meant respectfully. I can only guess the reasons for that.
Good capture however of your old friend's (former?) property.

Good find with regard to the two barns Tick - I especially like the barn on the left - it has so much character and is in such disarray and makes for a great shot - Great Capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
