I had a better photo of The Bar that was used in the movie Gone Girl. It was filmed in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and you can read more about it in my Gone Girl photo.
::koca (Milka) mentioned that she had translated the movie recently. Small world as they say.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I don't know whether this photo was taken just before opening time or closing time of this bar. I suppose the latter is the case, because it would suit this theme better.

I haven't seen the movie, but this shot is a keeper. I prefer it to the wider shot you preceded it with. By removing the cars, the cues that date the photograph are gone and it becomes a more timeless and focused image. Less becomes more.
