I finally got to play some golf Sunday with my good friend and his son. We were playing when the Horn sounded warning us to get off the golf course. It was a tough decision and we didn't pay attention the first time it sounded. When it sounded again about 30 minutes later, we took a look at the sky and decided to quit. It was a good thing we did. High winds, torrential rain and a hail storm was soon blanketing the area. At least I got to play for a couple of hours before the weather took charge. It rained more today, but I can officially say I have hit the links.

That cloud looks a little mean. Although I hate it your game was cut short I'm glad you are a practical fellow. That's a beautiful green playing field, Tick.

I'd run for shelter if I saw that coming at me. Great capture though.

Well better than nothing Tick. Those clouds look really mean. Nice shot of the scene.

This scene is remarkable ... the oncoming weather is ominous, but it contrasts beautifully with the earth... excellent composition and light and details.

The course looks in great shape. With that storm, it must have been a difficult day for a round. It looks very intimidating. So much so that there doesn't appear to be a "birdie" anywhere to be found!

Kind of overcast for golf, but I suppose it's better than no golf at all...

Good capture, Cap'n...Faved...

I would also have skedaddled out of there - we in the Midwest know what ominous clouds can mean and its not always a "wee downpour". Excellent shot.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), this scene shows on the one hand a very threatening sky, but on the other hand it's a wonderful scene as well. Wise that you've searched for a shelter, as an umbrella isn't helpful in these conditions. It's on the contrary, however!
Dramatic and beautiful shot!
