Backyard Visitor 1

I'm in the processing of moving into another home and now have the capability of having a bird feeder. This was taken from my Den through glass windows. I only moved about six blocks on the same street, but my back yard is wide open and I hope to get many shots of birds and deer. Yes, I saw a couple of deer last night, but it was too dark for photo ops. It also is a good place to practice my golfing.

I'm still in the process of moving. I moved from a 2 1/2 story home, so there is a lot of "junk" accumulated from garage sales, flea markets and shopping in general. There are also many heirlooms passed down from family members that are no longer living. They are my pride and joy. It is going to be a long process, but hopefully I will get done sooner then later. In the meantime I might not have the time to comment on all your photo's, but rest assured I will be looking at them. Thanking you in advance for your understanding.

To bad the photo op for the deer didn't pan out but at least you were able to get the dear bird. :)

Best wishes on your move and hope you will thoroughly enjoy your new home.

You have to do right for yourself and your family old friend..everything else comes second!
Cool that you can snap the flying kind from the comfort of your new home...I do this every day, sitting with laptop on knee and camera in hand, snapping thro' window 4 feet away!

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I wonder where you have find the time to spend some time on Caedes now because your family and you are in the hectic process of moving. My admiration, 👍 !
I see some resemblance with your previous situation. I live in a 2½ story house with a garden too. In fact too large for a single (now) person like me, but I haven't the 'courage' to move to a smaller house, because of my reduced physical condition.
I hope however that your 'new' house will be a home soon too!
Success with that!

I know how it is Tick because I also shifted home about 2 years ago and had no time for caedes. Like you I am happy with the new environment as this is close to a forest (still within city limits). Good one of the bird and nest.

I certainly understand the upheaval of moving home! When I retired, we moved to a smaller house. them my son decided to move from his birth home to be near his place of employment. and now just a few months ago, my daughter decides she 'needs her space' too. So again, we had to help! Good luck, I hope everything goes smoothly for you?

Excellent camera work with the image too.
