I love it. That's a great find. I had to laugh at the outhouse. Good one, Tick. But I'm seeing double. There are two postings of the same picture.

Good one Tick - very colorful station - bound to get your attention - I like that pickup truck in the background and of course, the quarter moon which has evolved into Mr. Bob!!!

This place is an American Pickers dream location. If the guys ever rolled up on this exhibit, Frank will think he died and went to "old sign" heaven. There are tire signs, Quaker State sign, tire repair sign, there are beer signs, one being Schlafly, Coca Cola and Shell signs galore, and the offer of brake service, tire repair, and candy and pop. Heck, everything but cigarettes! I would sit down and take a load off my mind but I see the Golfer has already reserved the room!

First thing I noticed was the blue car. Would have taken quite a garage to park that in. Neat photo though.

---When you needed gas, or needed relief from gas, this was the place---

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), by saying 'this was the place', I conclude that this colorful and excellently equipped petrol station no longer exists.
If so, an unique opportunity has been lost to alleviate the dire need.
Beautiful and characteristic capture with a good humorous undertone.
Thanks for this beautiful photo and the smile, 👍!

LOL Love your narrative. The outhouse does not look too inviting but when needs must . . .

I do like those cheerful colours.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

...That's exactly how it was in history, too... Even the attendant had to use the same facilities!
