That's right, Take, NOT Cake. Another from the Bin. The Light shining through the Great Egrets Wing shows 4 Layers of Feathers that make up the entire Wing. Have A Great Day! E J

A fantastic capture of this beauty E.J. Excellent clarity in this great action shot. I gonna have to start a new folder this one's gettin' kinda full and there's a lot of wing flapping going on in there. Great post
Your work is a big inspiration for me EJ. In the coming future I want to have a 300/400 (I just started with saving money) lens for wildshots. I have been reading a great book about these kind of photography and like you I do love animals.. birds. Your posts, your birds are so good.. Thanks for this one! Mich
I tawt I taw a puddy tat. Or is is a tator? Either way the Egret is hightailing it out of there SK. Another good one released from the bin. I am sure you know what the first thing a bird does when it is released. Great shot.
Your shots of these wonderful birds never cease to amaze me. I love the droplets of water coming off its feet too. Well done and hope you have a lovely weekend!
