This old campboat was did in by a Hurricane and never recovered. Image captured in Southeast Louisiana. They are preparing to open some locks to the north of us to relieve the pressure on the Mississippi River which will cause extensive flooding to the area where I live and surrounding parishes to save major cities such as Baton Rouge and New Orleans from flooding. We should begin to see the effects by sometime next week on just how bad it will be. Have A Great Day and Stay Dry! LOL. E J

Your use of HDR sure makes for some great images, I'm curious what program your using E.J. Sounds like some will suffer loss to help minimize the loss of others. Tigs♥ =^..^=

A lot of Missouri farmland was flooded to save the town of Cairo, Missouri EJ. It amazes me how long it takes for the Mississippi to reach its crests in different areas as it flows downstream.
Your shot it well done as usual.

Very dramatic, EJ. Love the dimension and lighting. You are the one who has to stay dry! Hope the flooding isn't too bad.

Better head for higher ground EJ when the Morganza spillway is unlocked for the first time in 38 years. All those fields, fish camps and some oyster beds will be flooded
