Male Great Egret prepares to Mount Female as she stands on Nest. Yes, it's mating time again in the Deep South and the Egrets do not disappoint. Have A Great Day! ej / jethro
Um, I've just come from Phil's image where Sophie complained of a headache...apparently this female didn't think of that, lol...great timing and action shot, EJ, though you may get a complaint about invasion of privacy.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Good of you to think about the kids, EJ, but as this couple didn't seem to mind your presence I have to wonder if they have one of 'those' sites on the internet, hehe.
Pat's commenting in top form today EJ! It's good that spring has sprung and nature is trying to maintain the population growth. I much prefer to see this than images of snow and ice further north. Great posting have a nice day. (o:
An amazing photo to capture the two love birds, well, in love. It just something you don't see everyday. Fantastico, EJ. I can't imagine what sites Pat is referring to (lol).
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way.
Perfect shot of the egrets EJ but then that is expected of you. A rather uncomfortable position but they will succeed all right. That blue sky makes this look even better.
Here we are- one of your fantastic egret captures, Yay and I hope your going to back for awhile. A wonderful post EJ, thanks for sharing it with us. tigs=^..^=
So, EJ, I guess this is the "birds" half of the old saying "the birds and the bees." Excellent capture of these beautiful birds - now I am going to close my eyes and give them their privacy.

Those two egrets are so beautiful and they're going to be bringing more beauty into the world. That's quite a shot that you captured and with such clarity!!! Every time I see an egret, I am in awe - they are majestic creatures and I love them. BTW, I love all species in the avian world:-):-):-) Excellent shot EJ!!!
With the hundreds (might be slight exaggeration) of pics that you have already posted of these beauties, I am amazed you can still capture one that we haven't seen before. Fabulous.
