Fantastic capture and love the colour tones - would be wonderful for the b/w challenge. Really like those delicate feathers from his tail wrapped around his legs

This is an immediate fave for me, between the beauty of the flight action and the lovely sepia tone it is really something special...wonderful work, EJ.
The treatment works well with the Egret, Jethro. We need to have a quilting party and use your photos to make an Egret Quilt. There is a fortune to be had.

The sepia effect brings out the detail in the egret nicely EJ!!! You have captured a marvelous image of the grace of this magnificent bird. Beautiful Work!!! A save and a fave for me!!!
It is photos like these that emphasize the complete joy of photography for both the photographer and the viewer. This is truly incredible, the composition, lighting, detail and essence of this beautiful creature comes alive in your shot. Congratulations.
The capture in the field and the treatment on the computer are superb but that super tight crop cramps the "bird in flight" for me and drains away some of my sense of wonder.
