You did real good on the butterfly but i find the background a little distracting not so much the colors but the distortion. But i think the butterfly itself is great. ><

Poor guy looks like he's seen better days!! Excellent detail on this shot...you can see down to the fine hairs on its back. Nicely done!!

Sorry to all...I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to lately. I'm a 9 to 5er again (actually more like 8:15 to 7:30 these days!!) Don't worry, I still see all of your wonderful posts, if only for a second.

Nice macro! Poor little baby lost some of his wing.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

The colors are crackin' in this upload and the clarity on the injured butterfly is great. Just part of life, I guess. You could have cloned the other tip over to cover up the deformity, but it always depends on how important it is to you :)

I really like this shot. The colours and details are terrific. I like how you can see that bit of purple in the separation of the butterflies wings. The only I might have done was crop out some of the background. Nice work!
