This was taken at the Blackstone River Damn. Its in the State park right of Staples Ln. I used to live right on this rd when I was real young. In this photo you see ice that has collected on a fallen tree that came over the damn. On the closer part of the Damn there’s a big rock where the water has carved a gorge through it. First time I tried the Shutter priority setting on my camera. I Tried to edit it the best I could. Tips are always welcome, thanks for viewing this page. -Chris

There is alot of interesting things to take in here and they all work together quite well for me.Its a tough call for me to say wether or not to brighten this up via editing.I don`t see anything that would get blown out from it.Just a thought.Fine image here.

You Yankee brothers, & sisters pay the price for deserting "Old Blighty" by enduring such harsh winter weather conditions !! It's beautifully warm in the UK with the "Gulf stream" hitting the Cornish coast keeping us at temperatures no lower than -2 at night !! America st5ictly only belongs to the Indians .. Forgive this old boy I've just crawled back from the pub .. hic !!
Photo came out just fine Chris regards Flossie. :o)

I just hate dirty cutlery !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... My gallery is here.

Looks like a couple of windshield snow brushes. Cool. Or cold, actually. Neat shot.

Looks good. I took about 50 shots of a Icy waterfall about a week ago, And deleted abot 30 of them. They are very tough shots with all the glare off of the ice.

Well you know this is my kinda shot!! You've done a fantastic job capturing the main subject, the dangling ice, and the textures of the branch and the flow of the water add that extra something. I think the perspective is perfect as well. I use the shutter speed priority for these types of shots as well. I would suggest first, a tripod obviously helps if you didn't use one. And you could also try shooting on shutter speed priority first to get a feel for the shot and switch to manual and tweak it until you got it perfect. Anyway...awesome job on this!!
