Some people have gotten some pictures of their pets on so I thought I could try this one. This is my little calico cat Callie. Unlike her much bigger siblings she is only about 7 lbs. She has beautiful markings and a very bossy attitude.

Daydreaming? I don't think so...I suspect there is a bird or squirrel up in that tree! Excellent shot of your beautiful cat. The only suggestion I can make is to consider cloning out that spot of light along the left side, as it is a little distracting. We also have a "runt" cat who has grown to only about half the weight of his sister. We think that helps make him special.

Chris this is so cute and she is sweet looking kitty. I to think she is focused on something. Good and very cute. That might have been a good idea about the spot in the bottom left of the pic.

Great capture, I'm surprised she stayed still long enough to get the photo! I think I would prefer the shot without a frame though.

I just hate dirty cutlery !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... My gallery is here.

Agree with sailorman, in that the lighting creeping in at that point is a tad distracting. Which segues to a further suggestion ...
Your image is big enough ... a crop, perhaps? Which would accomplish the objective of offsetting your focal subject, Callie, a bit more as well.
The one thing ... at least to my eyes ... that I notice, and I am not sure which it is the case of ... is some lens or motion blur. Taking away from some of the crispness. Now part of that may lay with the fact that Callie's coat is predominantly white from this perspective.
Subject? Pose? Interesting. Composition? Needs to be kicked up a bit to alleviate what has been cited in the comments you received.
Allll that said ... not too shabby, methinks. :o)

A lovely capture of your bossy & curious kitty, Chris :) Her being a calico kitty makes her a little special. Very good composition, and textures shown. Beautiful coloring and her fur looks so soft, I feel like I could reach out and pat her (I wish!). The soft background of branches fits this sweetie. Thanks for showing her off!
