My Dad, Brother, and I went camping last weekend down on Cape Cod, Ma. I liked the way a fire looked once it burned down one night and decided to take some pictures. I took this with my f/stop closed all the way down to 32 with an exposure time of 15.00 seconds. Taken with my Nikon D80; 105mm VR with no flash. Thank you for viewing this, Happy Forth of July!. -Chris During the exposure I hit the middle log with a hatchet to release more sparks.

Great 4th of July shot...I really like the effect from the long shutter speed. Very nicely done!!

One item on my "bucket list" is to visit every National Park in the United States. So far, 2 are in the book. Please check out my website for all my shots from Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
