I reposted this picture and Deleted the first one I posted. I didn't like the frame I had put on the picture. I think it looks allot better without it. While talking to my mom outside in our front driveway this Grouse came out of nowhere. She got really close to us and seemed very interested in what we were doing. Thankfully I was on my way to a Nature Reserve and had my camera when she appeared. I believe she wanted to nest in the edge of our front lawn. I took a couple good pictures of her, but I liked this one the best. She was eating the flowers, but I couldn't get a good picture of her doing it. Thank you for looking at picture, all comments and critiques are appreciated

With the frame or without, Chris, it's still a stunning capture of this grouse. The little lilac flowers in the foreground add a nice touch.

Hey Chris this a wonderful image of this grouse, I actually had a male in my backyard the other day, I took a few pictures and maybe I'll post one later on.

Is this the Ruffed Grouse?

It's an outstanding shot and I think you were right about the frame - I remember it was on the top and the left and my eye was drawn to it and not the bird.

It's better without the frame, cause the viewers eyes are now focused on the bird instead of the big frame that you used.
You can frame it with a small frame, like 20 pix, that should be enough!!

It still is a great shot with good clarity and colors :o)

A good choice of not using the frame. I do like this one more.
