This manipulation was inspired by "She Walks Alone" by ::sykadelikfur. In the original, I noticed the closest street lamp seemed lit and thought it might be interesting if the only lamp lit was lighting the subject's path. Thanks to Scott for permission to submit this altered version.

I understand what you were going for in this rework, and your concept comes across well. However, I feel like the rest of the picture has been made too dark. I think that a lighter touch throughout would not detract from your idea :)

I like the concept. Only thing, as i see it, might be that the trees are a bit to dark, that´s just my opinion.

I think the single light is only significant if the path would, otherwise, be dark. The brighter the pathway, the less spiritual/ironic (depending on your viewpoint) is the "guiding light".
