The Château de Blandy les Tours is a medieval castle (XIIth century !!)about 5 km from the Vaux le Vicomte castle..In the XIV th century it was strongly modified with new fortifications and structures of defence by Charles V..The inclosure holds 6 towers:the moral tower,the tower of justice,the tower of archives,the tower of guards,the square tower and the keep..In 1992 the castle become the subject of a complete project of restauration,respecting the principal historical stages of the monument..

RICH! I love the composition and colouring here.it is both strong and vibrant...merci for the history too.very iunteresting to know,one wonders what happened here so long ago.what wars? what prisonners? Keeping this in favorites
