This beautiful building of Barcelona is also known as Casa de les Punxes(the House of the Spykes)because of its sharply pointed gables and towers..Built between 1904 -1905,its clearly modernist style is most evident in the floral sculptures on the façade,the use of the red brick and in some of its Central European Gothic features..It was completely renovated at the end of the 1980s,but remains closed to public at present..

Very very new to this, and only have a bog standard fuji 2mb digi camera.
I wonder what the hold up is as far as going in to see the building itself..more renovations? Well, if they're as successful on the inside as they were on the out, then it's worth the wait. Lovely building.
