The Hospital of the Holy Cross is an extraordinary ensemble of buildigs in the heart of the old hospital district in Barcelona..the present hospital built between 1901 and 1930,was designed by the the Catalan arhitect Lluis Domenech i Montaner..It is a UNESCO WORLD Heritage site..Today it is STILL a FULLY FUNCTIONAL hospital!! ..there have been discussion to convert this building to a museum sometime in the future..Hope you'll enjoy..

Adriana, although I can't speak for John (Rozem061), think John and I have to say now that this is more our style, lol. Love this image not only because it shows some wonderful architecture, but because it's wonderful captured as well. Regards, Cornelius

That's a gorgeous structure. We sure don't have any hospitals like that in Ohio. You have captured it very nicely. The colors are great...especially the sky. Thanks for sharing this one.

I bet the doctors go round and round about proper diagnosis in this one. It's so beautiful and you took me to top and I never got on elevator. My eyes climbed the stairs. Awesome depiction of architecture style with great photographic ability. Very good Adriana.

WOW what a shame that the don't make hospitals look like this everywhere... I think people would be better much faster in a beautiful building like this.
