Nice shot, good perspective and capture. Old or new the lighthouses are nice structures, useful and life savers, too. I like them very much and I enjoy, thank you very much for sharing.
Like to give you some additonal information Adriana as I think it may be interesting.
The Dutch island of Schiermonninkoog has two lighthouses, a red one and a white one. Although traditional windmills and lighthouses have an official name in Holland, those two lighthouses are an exception to this rule. Both don't have official names. The red one is just called Northern Tower while the white one is called Southern Tower. Both were built in 1854. Both towers weren't only lighthouses but had a function as lightline as well. As the Northern Tower got in 1910 a turnable electrical light, the Southern Tower has become superfluous. From 1950 - 1992 the Soutern Tower was used as water tower. Nowadays it's only in use for some communication purposes as can be seen by the attached atennas.
Think I don't have to tell you that I like this image of the Southern Tower very much.
It's a great one to me, therefore I like to thank you for sharing!
