The photos of Yellowstone are so sad...with all the trees having been burned...well, it doesnt leave much..This is a good view of the Lake and the mountains...but the poor little trees sure are spindly...but no matter what..you did take a great photo of this area..

The best way to make your pictures take the viewer in is to give them some emotion. In this image, assuming you like the "sad" idea that everyone is providing would be to lower the contrast, brightness, and saturation considerably. Also, if you have a tool to remove background lighting, it can also add to that bleak effect. This may be an interesting piece in b&w.

This really is a great stock photo; you can take it in so many directions! One recommendation for you next time you are out shooting, try to mess with the framing a bit. An example would be to use that tree in the left center as the right edge. Framing them up with off-cenetered objects and physical walls tends to give the image perspective.

When you are in it up to your ears, keep your mouth shut.

This is a great photo over all, but the main problem and what keeps it from being an excellent photo is that it is unbalanced--- your eye is drawn to everything going on in the right half of the image.

I would like to thanks everyone for their comments and effort in giving me a better direction and more things to look at before taking the photograph. Thanks, and feel free to critique as much as you want.
