This is a fantastic view of the president..too bad Lincolns face is partially covered..Try the framing I suggested in PM..ok? I just love this photo, gosh it brings back memories to me. I went to college in Rapid City, which is where Mt Rushmore is..all the kids back then would climb the mountain just to say they did..and to have their pic taken up there with those faces..So glad you are posting these photos...just love em !!

I like the angle from which you took this picture at. It looks like you are looking up thru a crevase.

On a side note, I certainly wouldn't want to be in your position when he sneezes... :o)

What a unique capture you have given us! I like the fact that Lincoln is partialy obscured. This allows the viewer to focus on Washington. After all, he was the first! There is good detail here. Pretty cool when you shoot from the dark of the walk into the light of the monument. This brings back some extremely pleasant memories. Right into my fav's on my harddrive. Thanks :~)

You must have been inspired looking up through that natural frame. It really focuses the eye on your subject, and eliminates ancillary clutter. I agree though, about Lincoln.

Bravo for finding a non standard way to shoot instead of from the standard photo-op set ups provided by the park service! This really emphasizes the rugged natural landscape below the monument.
