Lovely creation, Hannah! I especially love the soft glow about the pen tool elements and the pastels in the background, which carries through to the beautifully smooth jewels! I agree with Les on the opacity of the reflections. And, The drop shadows also add a nice touch. Best of luck in the contest! :)

Caveats?
Perhaps, lowering the opacity of the reflections on the jewels, and/or applying some blur to them to soften them up some.
Simply put, delineation is a tad strong.
That aside, and make no mistake about my impressions/thoughts, very nice work by you. :o)
